- Mauvay Langue, mauvaise langue (n): Critical, slanderous talk. (French mauvaise ‘bad’ + langue ‘tongue’). A person who says malicious, gossipy or slanderous things. Mauvay Langue is from the French word Mauvaise language literally means ‘bad tongue’ or ‘bad language’, or ‘wrong language’.
- I find both appalling and disgusting..the pettiness that sees a sinister plot behind every move the brand new government makes. The mauvaise langue, vicious and calculated to damage reputation and character.
