Mark was arrested in 2009 on drug-related charges and his first trial resulted in a hung jury. He was convicted in 2011 after a second trial and refused to appeal and was sentenced. “Ring the alarm another song is dying.”
Buju Banton’s lyrics can be very provocative and homophobic which is very off-putting. His ‘Til Shiloh album though I still own is a classic that is worth a listen. Now he’s in Jamaica “walking like ah champion”.
